winter tires
I drove my GTO all last winter on the factory tires. With minimal miles on them, I was able to get around the Pittsburgh roads without much trouble.
This winter I do not have the tread remaining for them to work in snow, and am looking for recommendations for "snow" tires.

My Z28 had Kumho Ecsta ASX on it when I bought it. They did pretty damn good in the snow. They're pretty cheap too.
