A 1" spacer wouldn't work well for me though...500+ at the wheels wouldn't make me feel that comfortable on them. I ended up going with some aftermarket wheels. Originally I wanted to just widen the stockers, but pricewise it was close to even for me.

Whats the danger in running a spacer? Whats the highest HP you would feel comfortable with a spacer? Do all stock wheels that are widened need a spacer?

Wheel America in texas did it. The total process took about a 5 days which wasn't too bad delivered and returned. Also the wheels spacer is 1" which bolts onto the hub which is 5 lugs. I'm real comfortable with the spacer and I run a good amount of power and I've run slicks at the track and dragradials on the street with no problems. I highly recommend widening your wheels looks awsome...

It would probably be fine. I would rather not myself though.

Just curious, I have 11" rims on mine and I don't need spacers...where would they hit causing you to need spacers?

Because you've added 2 inches to the inside of the wheels. Your rims have different backspacing which leaves you with that dish affect or lip. If you don't have the spacers they would hit in the inner part of the wheelwell.
