im gonna be getting wheels next year and im torn between the tt2's and the c6 z06 and if i went with the zo6 i would do 18 in the rear and 17 up front to give it that nice stance. idk what im gonna decide but its definitely between those 2

18's all around would look way better than the staggered look. The staggered look does not look good on f bodies. I would go 18's all around in staggered widths.

Not affending any muscle car guys, but I agree that the stance does not look good on F-Bodies. Maby 70's model camaros and firebirds, but not the newer ones. I love a good lean on a car now and then, but go with 18's all arounds, skinnier in the front and wide in the back!

Im pretty sure wheels can be speed and looks. You go with a wider better looking wheel you can also put a wider stickier tire. Wider, stickier tire, equals better traction and faster acceleration.

Yeah , and their also heavier which slow you down & that extra wide tread also slows you down not to mention wind resistance & less fuel mileage.

Im talkin about aftermarket 17s. Not "dubs" I myself dont see 17s really doing any of those. Wind resistance? Are you serious? You should probly put down the pipe now.

If you don't think a big fat wide tire on the front of your car will slow you down in the qtr. mile you must be still wet behind the ears dude . Width+weight+contact resistance=slower ! Got it yet dude ?

Oh yea I get it, but I am talking street cars and everyday performance. I dont think GM cared about the minor resistance of a wider tire seeing as how they put 275s all the way around on ws6s and the ss. But hey its all good we were comparing apples to oranges. Drag cars to street cars. We just had a failure to communicate.

Gotcha ! Even though it slows you down a bit I still like the looks of big wide tires all around. Like you said , for the strip it's necessary to have skinny front tires but on the street big all around gets my vote.

Go with the TT2 you can get 9" front 10.5" rear you still look staggered but dont have to get 2 18's and 2 19's.
