    I wanted to do the same thing.

    I ended up with new TTII's instead and sold the stockers. Worked out to be about the same cost.
    $240 a wheel for the widening from what I could find.

    I am not a fan of 18's on the 4th gens personally.
    Not really sure what sizes you can get with the 18's.

    Wheels = $800
    Front tires = $400 (BFG KDW 275/40/17)
    Rear tires = $400 (Nitto DR 315/35/17)

    American Racing link
    There are both the 17x9.5 and the 17x11.
    Discount will rape you for the wheels.

    Check several places online (including our sponsors).

    My rears stockers are being widened at wheels america in Dallas. I should get them back tomorrow evening. I'm installing the DR's on Sunday. I'll post pics when I get them on. The cost was 200.00 per wheel.

    Do you have them on the car yet??

    How do they fit? Heard of some having issues because they add the 2" in the wrong location really throwing off the offset.

    cant really widen it elsewhere... you simply need to get a 1" skulte adapter.

    almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

    also, a great information to add is how much added weight goes into widening a 9" wheel to an 11' wheel.

    just ordered my TT2s on Fri. i got 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 in the rear, the 17x11 is a discontinued item from A.R. but im still gonna run 315s on them. i used to work at discount tire so i got a really good price on the entire setup. rims and tires (315/35/17 275/40/17) $1500. not bad huh? what mods do i have to do in order to make the 315s fit in the rear?

    They fit fine. Like Eugenio said, they can only add in one section.
