    Wheel/tire help

I'm getting new wheels and tires for the SS and I'm looking to get the widest I can get (without any sort of protrusion from the wheelwells of course). Going with 18"s all around, but with the rear wheels/tires being the widest.

Can anyone tell me the sizes?

I have Corvette C6 18x10.5 on all corners... click on link in my signature.
Also have 17x11 on all corners when racing... links also in signature.

I think my post got misunderstood. I'm not asking suggestions for wheel-type, I just need to know the dimensions because I want as wide of wheels as I can get without extending past the wheelwells. I already have the wheels picked out.

Does 11 stick out at all for you Eugenio?

But... he just told you the dimensions

Do you mind using spacers or not? also depends on if your lowered... when you say sticking out past the wheelwell Im assuming you mean as wide as you can go without having rubbing/contact issues right?

You also need to look into tire size not just wheel size...

Nah, not using spacers and yes, it's lowered. Tire size isn't so much an issue as I was basically looking for the "18x__" number. I was told 10 by someone and 11 just now in this thread, so I'm guessing 10.5 is going to be ideal, but I need to make sure the manufacturer makes them in that size.

The tire size is whats going to determine the overall width... I could be wrong, but I dont think you can get away with anything over 295's without spacers or having to roll your fenders...

I have 315/35 17 Sumitomo's on the rear of my car atm and there's no issue as long as you roll the fenders. Tire really makes the difference on if it will fit. Local camaro has same wheels but I believe Kumho's and they rub the sidewall some during turns.

without flaring, 18x11 is pretty much the limit.
As for spacers, it depends on the offset.
As you can see on the links in my signature, I use wide wheels allround, and they don't stick out at all.
17 vs 18 won't make any difference whatsoever.
basically, as long as the offset is good, and the overall diameter of tires as well... you should be good..
If you follow the link in my signature, you'll also see that 12" wide can be fit in both front and rear, but you need flaring in the rear... fronts are good... and we're talking 335 tires on all corners here.
