wheel size
I know this question has been beat to death lol but i just got some corvette rims and i was wondering what size tires will be good for them. Also i want to run a wide tire out back. could i run 305 out back with the rim size? (there going on my 01 trans am a-4)
front rim 17x8
rear rim 18x9.5
also how do i find out if there rear corvette rims?

You should be good with 305s on an 18x9.5 wheel. I run 275s on my rear 18x9.5. Yours will bulge out slightly but not too much. The wheels will have GM stamped on the backside of the wheels.
What are they? C5? C6? Z06?

do you know if they are replicas or OEM. OEM wheels are 17x9.5 and 18x10.5

those are aftermarket..
i wouldnt run wider than 285 on 9.5 rim.. i had that size on the same rim, the tire was to wide for that rim
for the front 265 should be good.

the biggest recommended size for a 8.5 is 255 and 9.5 is 285. I'd run 255/40 and 285/35

i don't mine them up front, and for the back 275 will look good and perform decent. I don't really want a big tire cause on my camaro i have 275 all around and wen i get close to the white strips on the street it kinda jerks my steering a lil. I herd is cause i have wide tires up front, so i don't really mind a skinny tire up front plus 265 really ain't bad lots off people run that size up front

I have 275's all the way around on 10.5" rims which I just measured Thursday and found out that's what they were, so im going to 315's in the rear and leaving 275's on the front
