    whats your preferred 275/40R17?

I have been running BFG gForce Sports and I liked them at first but they are extremely noisey and seemed to cause a lot of vibration at highway speeds after the first 10k or so.

    Any recommendations?

These were an almost new set on the car when we bought it last year. Good road manners, not noisy, and the one time the car has seen rain (torrential downpour) they did just fine. Not much over stock hp right now -- so they hook good on a launch during "back road test sessions".

Fuzion ZRi's are too hard compound and don't grip that well.
I'd seriously recommend checking out the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport.
They are a bit more money than the BFG's but you'll be happier in the long run.
In case you all don't know Bridgestone and Firestone offer a 30 Day Test Drive on most of their tire lines, so ask your dealer about that. If you buy tires from those brands and you don't like them for any reason you can return them and get your full purchase credit back towards a different style Bridgestone or Firestone tire line that you will like.
It's an awesome customer satisfaction program they offer to make sure you are happy with the products they offer for the money you've spent.

That is what I run on my street wheels.

For the track though, I REALLY like the Hoosier QTP's. Running 27x11.5x15's...and they dead hook from any RPM.
