    whats the deal?

I sold my sock 17x9 rims off of a 98 ta to a guy that has a gmc s10. I did a little research before selling them to him and i seen that they should fit. The deal is the back rims fit but the front hub bearing thingy sticks out to far and hits the center part of the rim. So i am thinking this can be fixed by adding spacers to allow for more clearance for the back of the rim. The guy also asked around his town about the spacers but everyone is telling him that they cant get them. Where can i get a couple sets of spacers?

If you know the bolt pattern and bolt size, try eBay.

    OR...

A wheel shop should be able to mill the center bore out to clear the front hub.

the bolt pattern between the two are the same 5 x 4.75" but the offset is a major issue. he can get spacers from skulte.com

i read on that site that you dont want to go over a 1/4 inch with spacers because any further than that you will run the risks of the studs breaking.

Will a 1/4 inch spacer work for fiting these rims onto the truck? or will i need to look into adapters for it?
