Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
What's the better deal? WS6 wheels..
I've been looking for a set of WS6 wheels for my Formy, I just found two sets.
One set is completely mint, no peeling, no curb rash whatsoever, on brand new tires, for 900 shipped.
Other set has some peeling and rash, not horrible, but they definitely need work. Tires have maybe half tread, or a little more, for 500, plus shipping, which I figure is probably 150 or so.
Second set seems like a good deal, but I know it's really rare to find a set of these in mint condition, so I'm drawn to those.
How hard are these to refinish?
Thanks!

Cyclone Grey Metallic- 2005 GTO
Offer the guy with the mint wheels $750. It's still a good deal. If he bites, go there. Otherwise, i would just pay his low dollar amount. Getting the rims repolished and cleared isn't going to be cheap.
What kind of tires are on the new rims? Some people will throw on a cheap, throw away set of tires to jack up the price.

The old rims have Cooper Zeons, the new ones have Daytons. I'm not familiar with Daytons, but hey, I was planning on getting a set of Sumitomo's if I bought just rims. I have no problem with "cheap" tires, as long as I'm not paying big bucks for them.
I was actually planning on doing the refinishing myself, but I'm lazy, and sitting there for hours polishing doesn't sound like too much fun.

I just bought some mint condition high polished and refinished early style Ws6 wheels a couple of months ago from a place like Lakeshore. Paid around 900 shipped. They were awesome. Their refinish techniques are actually endorsed by GM. Not "dirt cheap" but not bad. Lol...plus I was tired of looking! The "unpolished" one's they had were even cheaper.
