What would be the right backspacing?

Im looking to buy the new Summit wheels that look like the Torque Thurst wheels but unsure of the correct back spacing to get rid of that ugly rear fender overhang.

Im getting the 17x9's out back and theyre available with 5 or 6 inches of backspacing. I think the five is what i want to help fill in the wheel well but dont want it to stick out from under the car.

The 17x8's are what i want out front and theyre available with either 4.5 or 5.25 inches of backspacing.

I just wanna know what you guys think would fit and look best. Also its a black T/A, which do you think would look better, Full chrome or the gun metal centers? Thanks for the input.

i think i would call summit's tech line to make sure of the fitment. gunmetal would be my choice. why only 9" out back? 8 or 9 is cool for the front but normal backspacing for 9 or 9.5"torq thrust wheels is around 7". you move the wheels out to the edge with 5 or 6" backspacing and its going to look like theres no tire under the car, or the axles are pulling out of the tubes or something.[imo]

Those are the widest that they offer. If I had the money I would buy the 11 inch wide american racing version but theyre almost double the price.

And they would be worth every penny.

How much are you getting these Summit knock-offs for?? I got my TTII's shipped to me for $825.
I understand wanting to save some cash, but going with the American Racing ones will be the better bet down the road.

IMO, go with a minimum of 6.38" (around a +35 offset) backspacing.

190 for the chromes. 150 for the gun metal. I havent seen them where i could get all four for only 825. Ive also only looked at year one cuz the catalog was laying in my room and they wanted 323 for one 17x11. I obviously need to look around some more.

I think they have gone up a little since I have gotten them, but should still be able to be had under $1000 shipped.

Year One will be REALLY high, as will tire shops in your area.
    I got mine off EGay.

I need to check with my work. I get everything cheaper, i just depends if we get a decent price on them. I know gauges for me from my work arent any cheaper than they are from anywhere else. But im not sure about wheels.
