    What wheels should I get?

I am ripping out my hair. For the last few weeks been wondering what kind of wheels I should get. I need help?

First My car is a DD. I am making about 430 rwhp and am on stock 16inch rims. I want lightweight rims. Any suggestions at a Good reasonable price. I would like 17inch all around something like 17x8 front and 17x10 rear. Or should I just get nitto 555r in the rear and use that at the track. I am still on the stock 10 bolt. Any help would be appreciated. OH I went to the track about a month ago and pulled 2.4 60ft 13.4@111 mph. So I am working on gettin this power to the ground.

Rotating mass maybe I should just stick with my current rims and just get a stickier tire.

Sounds like you need to do some research on unsprung weight.

There's some interesting data found here on tire/wheel weights. Perhaps that'll help.

The only one I could see which would be a good wheel. Is billetspecialties, centerline and the real expensive ones like fiske.

why are you looking into such lightweight wheels for a DD ......run some nice looking street wheels.....dont worry about weight so much for the street...get the boyds or such....if you are only looking into lightweight wheels for the track.......then look into getting some light weight wheels for the back and throw some drag radials on or get a dedicated set for the track.

    however be warned ...i assume you are a m6..on a stock 10 bolt...so you do the math...lower 60 ft + 10 bolt + t56 = new rear end .......

You'll easily save the most weight with just some light weight track tires, and keeping the wheel width to a minimum.

Otherwise figure on spending $$$$ on lite weight forged wheels!

I am sick and tired of hearing about the 10 bolt braking I dont care anymore. I have been hearing this for several years. I put all this money into this motor so if it breaks it breaks. I have to get a new strange 12 bolt with 3.90 gears.
