What tires are you guys running?

My Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Seasons are just about bald. Apparently they stopped making them in the right size for the stock rims?

    What do you guys run?

I'm thinking about getting the GSD3's, but they are "summer only", and I drive my car in the winter.

I run two sets of tires.. (My car has full bolt-ons and a frost mail order tune as well)

Summer = BF Goodrich KDW2's. (275/40/17) They grip very well, wet traction is very good, and the tread looks awesome IMO.

Winter = Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22's. (255/40/17) Although that particular tire has been discontinued, with 70lbs in the back I blew through 7 inches of snow and never got stuck!

I'm still running the stock Goodyear F1 GS tires the car came with. I plan on replacing them with Nitto NT555's in the spring. I can't believe you guys run your cars in the snow, mine has never seen rain or snow. Driving a RWD M6 carup the hills of Sussex County NJ is not something I would look forward to.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

some people dont have much of a choice. the car does fine in the snow as long as you have all season (or winter) tires.

I loved those tires but they didn't last me as long as i was hoping. I'm rolling on Nitto 555s and am liking them.
For the tread pattern on the NT05 they are surprisingly good in the rain.

The GSD3s are summer tires. Not at all recommended for winter. However, I did use those, and then the F1 all season. The grip difference was huge, the all seasons did not perform in summer like the GSD3. What about spending the money on a beater winter car, and have the summer tires for your TA? That's what I did, over 2 years later and I still don't have $1,000 in the '90 Z24, which is about the price for a good set of our tires in the 275/40/17 size.

Or you can get some Blizzacks for winter, from your local Firestone, and then a nice summer tire. They will store you summer tires for you, if you ask. I really like my new Bridgestone Potenza RE760s (summer tire). Of course, winters are really not that bad here, so all season tires would work instead of a dedicated snow tire, and I bet I could get by on summer tires except for about 5 days in the winter, and I do have the beater for that. Dark tinted windows make it hard to see me in it...and I don't have to worry about rusting my WS6.

had to stop and reread to be sure i read that right

You could probably pick up a set of cheap stockers for winter tires and keep your wheels for summer tires

The Eagle F1 All Season tires were completely discontinued as I found out from my boss(I work for a Goodyear shop).
I have heard rave reviews about the Eagle GTs however. I might get them for my stock wheels to replace...yeah...MY worn
out Eagle F1 All Season tires. On my 18s I run Nitto NT555s.

I run BFG KDW's in the front and ET Streets in the rear. Don't drive it that much so the rear tires last a while.
