What tires?
I'm in need of new tires for my T/A. It's bone stock and will continue to stay that way for a while so I don't need slicks by any means. They'll be on 16" rims and what's on there now is Bridgestone Potenza 245/50/16 and would like to stay that size. What I do need is a good street tire that isn't really expensive, get good mileage from, good in rain/snow, and will semi hook( and withstand speeds up to 120). My biggest factor is $. So best bang for the buck would be good. Looking for something around 100-125$/tire or less. Thanks for the help. Jason Hopson

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I have Fuzion Zr1's from firestone. I've put about 32,000 miles on them. They are pretty hard tires and do a great job for long trips or if you're caught in the rain [not so much now with a lot of tread ware]. I daily drove on them for a year in rain/sun/snow...all of it, now my beater does all the hard stuff. I liked them and would get um again (if i wasn't looking for a softer tire that is) I think they are just out of your price range but i also got the firestone road hazarad [rape job]. I think i got quoted 600 or so for a new set, but look on tire sites through the web and you might find them for cheaper as most joints will mount/balance them for like $20/tire

I agree with above, i picked up a set of fuzion's for 400 bucks and they have done great, at the track and in the rain. 100 times better than the goodyear f1's

I see you guys talking about the Fuzions an I was wondering, I have a set of 245/40/18's I am trying to sell. They have less than 700 miles on them an are in perfect condition. My question is what would be a fair price for these? I was wanting $400 shipped.

Yokohamas AVS ES100s. Great wet and dry. Set lasted me about 18month with the first 6months seeing plenty of burnouts. Excellent wet and dry traction. Tirerack.com has the 245/50/16s for $100 a tire right now.
