    What rim/tire stance works best?

Trying to decide whether to stick with 17" rims all around with 275's or go up to 315's in the rear OR go up to 18's in the rear. Just wondering opinions on what is best for a T/A.

    Sure.
If you like to spin a lot instead of just hooking and going.

Mines lowered with 18's all the way around, doesn't seem to spin any worse than it did with 16's. Just depends on tires and suspension set-up more than anything IMO.

    Thumbs up

    IMO,
18s, and go with a taller, or taller and wider tire in the rear.

Well in the rear...the wider you can go the better up to typically 11" is what most guys max out on...I have 9" all the way, that is not to say i wish I had wider in the rear, it just was not available for my wheels. However, here is a pic of my car transitioning from 17's to 18's.

I almost went with 19's and to be honest...I am glad I didnt...if you want any performance abilities to remain I stay with a 17 or 18...19 is strictly for show IMO... I also have 17F and 18B and I hated the set up...even thought the vettes had it like that my car handled like shit...though the z06's were always 17 on all for corners...maybe there was a reason for that...

that is incorrect to its fullest.....c5 z06 wheel sizes were 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 out back

    the c6 z06 is 18x9.5 and 19x12
    the c6 zr1 is 19x10 and 20x12

the c4 zr1 might be what your refering to with a 17x9.5 up front a beefy 17x11 out back

    I stand corrected...

Last thing I want to do is give out bad info...I was under the impression that the C5 Z06 was 17 x 9.5 all the way around...I suppose I was wrong...Sorry fellas..

    Weld ProStars.

    Front - 15x3.5 wheel, Tire is a 165R15
Rear - 15x10 wheel, Tire is a 27x11.5x15 Hoosier QTP

I want to put the Hoosier skinnies on the car soon though.
