If they are stock 5th gen wheels stock I bet heavy as hell.. if ur going for a strait drag car I would go 16x11 in back rim on a 325 drag radial maybe 335 if u get the right offset rim..you should have plenty of room to raise the the sidewall height

KC is on the money -- I run a 15" Bogart wheel at the track with Hoosier QTP's that are close to the stock 25.6" tire height. At 18-20 psi, I get a nice wrinkle at launch as the car plants itself in the lane. With less sidewall, you simply do not get the same effect and would be more likely to spin or wheel hop on a hard launch.

Right I just thought 15 inch rims wont fit because of the brakes on the newwer ta's were to big to fit inside most 15 inch rims... defiantly feel that about the tires if ur goin for a strait strip car slicks all day on a smaller but wider rim but iv seen many fbodys with wide 18's and drag radials launch really good as well is all I was getting at

Agree with KC and Jeff. Bigger wheels have less sidewall and are heavier - not ideal for drag racing. Suspension will play a big role too.
