    Torque Thrust Wheels don't fit

I reasantly went to my local tire store DT and they said TTM's won't fit on my TA. I swear I have seen them on our car on this site. They said they won't even custom build them to fit. The only way to get the TT's, is to get the TTII's in the 2 piece. They would have to build them to our car and I could only get them in polished aluminum. I wanted to get the anthracite with the machined lip or chrome as my second choice. Does anyone know how I can get what I want or am I stuck with the TTII's in aluminum?

They don't know what they're talking about. TTM will fit on Fbodies fine.

Ditto. That shop was blowing smoke up your ass OP. Check Tirerack or Discounttire. I have dealt with both and they are very knowledgeable.

It will depend on what diameter you want. ARE makes the TTM in 17x9" +45mm and 17x10.5" +44mm that fit, but not in an 18" or larger diameter.

Discount tire was the one that called wheelpros who owns American racing. But I was looking for 18x10's for the back, maybe that's why they said that. I want those wheels in 18". Anybody know who can make them for me?

I called Discount Tire and asked them what was up with saying TTM's won't fit. I had him call wheel pros again and sure enough they have them for our cars. I am going to get 17x9 in the front. What does everybody think about size for the rear? 17x9, 17x10.5 or 18x9? Also my car is NBM with charcoal racing stripes. What finish should I go with? Chrome or Anthracite with machined lip? Thanks for any input.

315/35-17's should fit nicely with the 17x10.5" in the rear.

My car is lowered 1.5". Will 315's still fit?

I think you just need to remove/grind off the rear bumpstops and you should be fine.

I didn't realiZe those could get in the way. I would have no problem doing that to get them to fit. I will order the 315's and see how it goes. Thanks

I was thinking Nitto NT05 summer performance for the tires. Good call?

Try it. I haven't heard or read any complaints about them.

I've seen them fit with the Eibach Sportline springs which is a 1.6"/1.4" drop. Shouldn't be a problem!
