Tires and more tires

ALright im looking for good tire for the street but also does some justice on the track.. both Drag AND Road racing styles. Affordability is also a nice thing.

SO far ive looked at:

-Kumho XS

-Kumho V700 (guessing this is more of a race tire then street tire plus tirerack has a sale)

-Kumho SPT (had these in 245s and liked them so far)

-Sumitomo HTR Z(affordable but not sure on racing quality, seen a 275 and 315 set for $475 total with these)

Im gonna run 275s in the front on a 9.5" rim (pretty common)

THe rears are what im not sure to run on a 10" rim
I want wider rears to set it off right, but i also want good racing characteristics.
I know 285/40R17 will fit fine.
295/35R17s will also be a great fit
315/35R17s are the questionable size. Look great and plenty of traction for Drag, but not sure about twisties

I would not even bother getting a tire that would be good on both. Get STREET tires. That will make you the most happy. For the track buy a set of "used" tires and rims for the rear and be done with it. Unless you are going to track the car alot that is probably you best option.

Best bet is the Nitto 555. I had the htr+ and others and no street tire even comes close to the Nitto as far as grip and they perform great in the rain.I will not ever put another brand tire on the ws6 unless they stop making the 555.regular Nitto nt555 not the drag radial version

Also check discount tire direct,they so not charge shipping so they are less expensive than tire rack
