my only experiences are with 555's and KDW's. KDW has a cooler looking tread pattern but sucked in the rain. 555's don't break loose as much in the rain as the other and had no noticeable difference on dry conditions. I must note that I'm pushing stock HP so I'm didn't take either tire to their respective limits and I haven't used either on the track

I love my nitto 555r drag radials. I have sfc's with kooks lt's and a LS6 intake manifold. I can punch it in first at like 3k and hook no prob. Nitto FTW

If you took a little longer to read we were discussing the nt's not the r's. How about you compare the r's to every other radial instead of to a street tire?

for my next wheels I'm planning on using 335/30-19. very few companies make a tire that size. kdw's are in that large group that do not. nitto has 2 different tires that do.... so Id say in this case haveing more size selections mattered...

just ordered nt05's. 335/30-19 and 275/35-19 as well as new wheels (spyders).

I paid 1,140. for the tires at discount tire direct and got free shipping. for that price they damn well better have free shipping. I paid almost the same amount for the tires as I did the wheels!!
