    Tire Suggestions

Ok so the T/A Needs shoes before i can get inspected to finally get on the road. Any suggestions for a 245/50/16 without breaking the bank? On top of that any pics of the stock 16's painted?

I run C5 18's all round, and I'm on my third set of Falken 452's. They are so great!!! And they won't break the bank. Check out Discount Tire Direct for prices. I paid around $640 to the door. Just don't go driven in the Ice/Snow and you will be fine

Snow and ice... I live in NEPA, i could drive to work at 7am and it be sunny and 50 degrees only to leave my office and see a half a foot of snow by the time i get home. The Bird will be nice and cozy in the garage most of the winter lol

If you're wanting street tires, I'm pretty happy with the Nitto 450 Extremes.

Fuzion ZRI about $450. Excellent summer tires. Great handling in the twisties and gripped well when stomping on it. They lasted about 40K miles.
Im in Northwest Ohio so I know how the daytime snowstorms go.
They are drivable in the snow, but just barely.

I've got them also, for the money they are a good tire.

Fuzuion ZRI, I'm on my third set. Love them. They hook from a dead stop slam the throttle to the flloor with traction control off. Great for getting on or off the interstate at 100 mph +. Stick great. Best value, and look good too.

NOTE: Not that it gets cold in Louisiana to often but when it does the tires are like Fred Flinstons stone wheels.
Great in the heat. Crappy in cold weather. Passed up a car yesterday (he was doing about 30 in a 55) car down shiffted and I went around him like I was driffting. It was cold. Lot of fun though. Scared the crap out of him.

On my second set of these. About to be third. I like 'em. Hook good in dry or wet.

Well i appreciate the input and it will be put to good use sometime in the near future. Having some engine issues and now i am in the process of swapping motors. I picked up a set of Nexen CP641's for next to nothing to hold me over and allow me to get the car around and inspected/insured until the rebuild is done. Not a bad looking tire but nothin High performance either.

Why not go up a tire size and get 255/50/16s.
