    tire sizes?

hey everyone... I have a question. I bought rims a while ago, and now I have some money saved up for tires. My rims are 17x9.5 in the front, and 18x10.5 in the rear. I am thinking about getting 255/45/17 in the front, but what about the rear. would 315s work on a 10.5 rim?

275/40-17 in front, and 315/30-18 rear.
I have 315/30-18 on my C6 18x10.5... pix in signature.

315's will work fine. I run Z06 18x9.5" fronts with 275/40's, and 18x10.5" in the rear with Nitto 555R 305/45/18's. Works fine.

if you're talking about the C6 wheels pictures, those are Nitto NT-01 tires.

Are there any ABS or wheel well issues with the 275/40-17 315/30-18 setup? I currenly have Chrome SLP 10-Spoke with 275/40-17 fronts and 285/40-17 rears. I wouldn't mind the 315's on the rear. Would the 315's fit on a 17in wheel or do I have to go to 18?

abs issue is when the height of the tire exceeds a certain amount of stock tire height

The 275 sowrk fine on the front, I have never had 315's. Our cars could be ordered w/ 275's all the way around from the factory.

less issues than what you have presently, since the overall diameter of the 315s are pretty identical to the 275s... 285s are taller.

Ok, I see. I was just looking at the 18" on the rear instead of looking at overall height.
