    tire size question

    i have an 02 T/A and i just bought c5 wheels, 17x8.5 and 18x9.5. id like to go with 255/40/17 on the front and a 295/35/18 on the back if possible. will they fit without having to roll fenders or do any hammering? at the moment i have a factory stance but i think i want to go with a 1" drop in the very near future...

    i guess this is a elementary question ha but they guy i bought them off of said that he was told id need spacers for a good fit. i browsed around on here for awhile and it seems like they will fit ok i just wanted to be sure

    i bought zo6 wheels for mine 18x9.5 in front and18x10.5 and 295 in rear, also i dont think its recomended that you run 295 on a 9.5 wheel but that is up to you, but they do fit fine.. the only problem i had was slight inner fender rubbing on the tire around really hard cornering, but nothing a big fuckin hammer couldnt fix

    the rear will rub a little on the insides. nothing a 1/4" spacer wouldn't take care of. i don't care for spacers, so i hammered slightly. i've had them on both of my cars
