Tire size for C5 Z06 rims

Ok I'm looking at getting a new set of tires put on my z06 rims. The front is 17" and 8.5" wide and takes a 245/45/17 and the back are 18" and 9.5" and take a 275/40/18. What I need to know is are there any other size tires that will fit these rims besides the ones I've listed. FYI I don't want run flats.

I dnt knw too much bout tires. But my friend has 285/35/18 on his 18.x9 rim. He can't go wider than that, and the fronts I got 255/40/17 bt my zo6 wheel is 17x9.5. But I think they are too skiny.
You should go for 265/40/17. But good look with that. If you are gonna buy em used. They are hard to find. And new they go for olmost $300 each tire
you should get 265/40/17 and 285/40/18. IMO.

yeah I'm looking to buy used. I priced a set and it would cost around $1,200 for a set that I "might" get 15k miles out of if I'm lucky. Used it is!

on your fronts you can run up to 255 and in the rear you can run up to a 285...if it was me I would run 255/40/17 and 285/35/18

Last week I put new tires on my new c6 z06 deep dish wheels and the wheels are 18x8.5 and 18x10.5. I bought the KDW 2s new from the tire rack for $908 including tax and mounting and balancing. I'm running 255/40/18 in the front and 295/35/18 in the rear. Let me know if you have any other questions.

That would be great but I can't spend more than 400 right now. I'm only going to have the rims on my car for the summer months and put my all season tires on during the winter. Since you can't rotate the z06 I'm trying to get as much use out of them as possible.

I can understand being on a budget I know how that goes but those are the sizes of tires that i know will fit on those rim widths...hopefully you can find something

That's what I'm looking to do. I called a few places that sell take off tires but none of them have the size I need cause it's not a common tire size. Soooooo...... the search is on!

    BRAND NEW:
    (2) 285/35ZR18 Sumitomo HTR Z II Blackwall
    (2) 255/40ZR17 Sumitomo HTR Z II Blackwall
    tirerack.com
    $400 before tax and shipping
Shipping will run $70 to your area, and sales tax in your state should be less than $20 but may be higher based on your locality, so that is $500 or less to your door for 4 brand new performance tires. FYI.

I don't know about frony since mine are 18x8.5( I run 245/40r18) but my back are 18x10 I run BFG KDW NT's 275/35r18(those are actually to overall factory size on a 18x10) also a good width if you wanna lower the car later, little pricey but wet or dry they are the best tires I'v had. My Kumho's spun to much.
