Tire choices for the track
I definitely want to take the TA to the track in the near future. I'd rather not race it with the street tires on, so it'd have to be with either DR's or slicks. I'll be honest, I'm fairly new to DR's and slicks, so can I get some info about their pros and cons? From what I gather, slicks give the best launch but I've heard rumors about people breaking axles with them. Can you help? Thanks!

Hoosiers. Best bang for the buck, The grab like Goodyear and last longer than M/T and Goodyear both. They have an excellent slick and DOT tire. If you are running high HP/TQ and have a Stock Differential, I would shy away from using too big of a slick.
