in most brands there's not much of a difference in price once you get past 305. when I was looking for 335's I came across more of 325's because that's what the c6 zo6 vettes come stock with on there 12" wheels so you might want to look at that size if it's not too big for your taste

found some pilot sport ps2s at a closeout price through tirerack. im thinking 275/35/18 F and 315/30/18 R. Should i think about going any wider in the front. one of my buddies said i dont want to go any wider than a 275.

I personally think 275s are perfect for the front and the wider you go the more stress you put on your power steering system. A couple guys run 315s up front and its overkill in my opinion unless your doing. Some crazy autocrossing or take every turn like a maniac

I had thought the Factory 275's in the front were wide as most cars these days don't even run near that wide of a tire. I run 315's in the back on my Drag Radials on a 17x11" wheel. CCW's are sick BTW!

Personally, I think you could fit a 315 tire. Our wheel sizes are very similar and I'm running a fatter tire. If I were you id order the 315s. Its a risky feeling believe me I know, but you should be able to pull it off.

i just hate to do much more then rolling/grinding down the fender. the offset is 45 in the rear so i'm hoping i'll be able to work with that.

I think most of the work you will have to do will be on the quarters due to the 45mm offset like you said. How close are the 295s now to the inner wells?

well some tires run wider than others but a 315 isn't that much bigger. Technically its 20mm bigger
