    These tires any good?

I'm looking to get a pair of Nitto Drag Radials for my 02 ws6. I was wondering if these were good tires to have on the street? It's not my daily driver.

They have a 100 treadware rating. They are softer compound than most other street tires(most other tires are 200/300/400), so they will hook a little bit better. You can get more miles out of them than you can a true drag radial, but they won't hook up as good as a true drag radial either. If you got caught in rain with them, you would want to be careful as well.

I have the Nitto 555R (or something like that) for the track and so I can drive in them to the track. The handle fine in dry conditions, but do where fast. So if you only drive when you know it won't rain, they will be fine.... you will just replace them often.

FYI: Nitto has come out with a new drag radial that was just featured in GMHTP.

Also featured in Chevy High Performance. They put them up against MT ET streets and they did a lil better on the strip.
