I've seen that a lot of people here like going with 9.5" in the front and 11" in the rear for 17" wheels. That is probably what im going to do as well. Supposedly you still get pretty good traction.

275's are much better than 245's. I put 285's out back on 9.5's, but some are running 315's on 11's. That's what I want to do after I get some other stuff done.

I too am planning on putting 17 - 9.5" w/ 275's on to replace my stock 16's. When I do this, will they fit on perfectly?

As long as you buy a rim with the correct offset yes thay will fit no problem.

Some of us are running 11x17 rims on all four corners.

hahah, 11x17... do you have hydros to go with that? I switch from 16s to 17s w/ 275 and I guess you can notice it a bit but it is not night and day.

245's (16's) will get wheel spin when I get to the top of 1st gear. 275's (17's) would not sping at the top of 1st gear. The lack of wheel spin makes you go faster. Both will let loose into 2nd, but the 275's get traction back much faster. This was with Good Year GSC's for the 16's and Good Year F1 GS's for the 17's which seem to be a comparable tire. They also had about the same amount of tread.
