    stripping speedlines..

    i bought a set the other day and i want to strip the clear coat off them...what all is needed? where do i get it? what is it called? help!!

    i know aircraft stripper works very well. . . most auto parts stores carry it

    if you strip the wheels, what do you do after that to take care of them. is it just a polished wheel then?

    yeap . . . regular poishing will be required, but they will shine way better than what they did with the clear on

    well i bought the aircraft striper and did it that way..MESSSY tho...and when done ..man what a difference!!! now all i have to do is polish them out!!

    i used aircraft remover/stripper, and then wetsanded the wheels and polished my 17x11.

    yeah can we get pics or a sticky......i have clear that wore off on mine and it isnt shiny under there at all its silver and dull as shit.....i have polished it with metal polish and it does nothing but clean the residual brake dust off....no shine, jus dull silver help
