size to fit 11" rim? (or need 1 GS-D3 315 35ZR17)
So the other night some prick slashed one of my back tires (as stated in the subject a F1 GD-D3 315 35ZR17), man was I ever pissed. Anyway, so I order one online at Tirerack (I like that place, good prices). But they are currently on back order and they don't know when they will be in. So I call around town (Calgary Alberta) to see how long a shop here would take to get one because I would be willing to pay a little more if I could get it faster. One guy tells me there is no production date on them, which means 6 months probably!!! Now I'm even more mad at the person who slashed it. 6 months just won't due because that means the car will pretty much sit until next summer (I put it away in the winter; and I just can't drive it with the crappy donut on it). So now I'm considering getting a smaller size tire, but I will have to buy two for the rear. I have 11" wide rims. A buddy of mine said I could go as skinny as 280, but really I would like to stay around 305 or so.
Does anybody have any recommendations on tires for that. I'm not really happy to have two different tire brands on the rear than the ones on the front. But what can ya do.
OR
Does anybody know a shop that has any GS-D3 in stock and willing to ship to Calgary Alberta, Canada?
Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for the tip. But they don't have any in stock either. They are on back order nation wide, so my only hope is to find a shop that happens to have 1 in stock, or buy a different size tire (for both rears).

you can fit any tire from 275/40-17 to 315/35-17 on them... so if you have any old 275s... it'll work.

Goodyear is no longer making that tire in that size. Or at least there is no sign of one in the near future, i have been looking at all our warehouses for a year and cant find any
