    rim's info

So i'm just about ready to buy some new shoes for my t/a but i'm tire of corvette rims lol, i would like different rim's but something that wont kill my bank account.

What are the different kind of brands out there? i need some options. I know the bolt pattern is 5x120.5 i believe, but what are all the bolt pattern's and offset's that can fit on f-bodies? Thanks for any help in advance, oh and putt pic's if you can plz.

What kind of prices were you thinking? American Racing, Budnik, Billet Specialties, Ruff, Boyd Coddington, there are a few more i'm forgetting but it all depends on what you're willing to spend and what sizes you have in mind

Offsets really vary by wheel width

The bolt pattern is 5x4.75 which comes out to 120.65
Offsets like i said vary, it basically means the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel to the center of the wheel

This explains it a little better

No problem, best way to learn is asking questions. What widths were you thinking? Thats is what would determine the offsets to look at.

Well it would probably be easiest to just to run 9'5s all around so you could rotate and the tires are much easier to find at a decent price
Could also go with 10.5s or 11s depending on the wheel and what you can find

They have no indication as to what offsets they are and they're 18x7.5s
If you're ok with the size i'd ask for some measurements. Just look into tires before you buy the rims

yeah he said it was 40 i guess the offset, that's kinda two small for me, i want a wider rim, ill pro run 17,9.5 all around or a 11 wide rim out back, i know i can get TT and corvette zr1 rims like that, but is there more options then does two?

rite now on my camaro i got 17,9.5 all around.

If I recall correctly if you want 17x9.5 front and at least 17x9.5 to 11" wide rear you have 2 choices in the under $1k mark TT and OEWheels, if you are willing to go closer to the $2-3+k mark there are Iforged, CCW and HRE, there may be more i'm not thinking of off the top of my head but I think those are the major options.

Well how much are you willing to spend? Oewheels are relatively inexpensive but if you're leaning away from the vette look billet specialties street lites are very nice for the price and you can get them in a wide variety of sizes. I've seen budniks I really liked but you would probably have to price out a set if you found a style you like

As far as having to do no mods to your car to get a 10.5" wheel to fit depends really on your car and how well your rear end us centered. Not exactly sure what offsets ttms come in but I would assume somewhere between a 40-45mm offset would give you the best fitment

The wheel supplier said 44 front and 45 rear offset, Iam going with 275 on all 4 is what thay suggest( they have most options of tire for the size) and then all 4 will be matched for height, 295/40 are .63 tenths taller(aprox 5/8") the 295/35 is.53 shorter(just over 1/2") the 315/35 is only 2tenths taller but the width is a little more than i wanted to go. I don't want to take a BFH or a grinder to my car!!
