Rim and Tire Question
I just bought a 1984 trans am and the rims look like they are going to fall apart and the tires are rotted out, my question is I have a 2002 Trans am and have the stock 275/40-17's, i was wondering if they would fit under the 84'. Any help would be great guys

You need adaptors to make them work but they will fit. Check the sponsors on here and see if they have them.

I have 275/40R17's on my 89 Trans Am. But I have the correct style deep dish wheels (Negative Offset)
Stock 4th gen wheels are positive offset and will not work without spacers as mentioned above. Often times the spacers are expensive as well. You'd be best off getting new wheels to fit the tires on the 3rd gen car. That is if money's not a big deal.....
