    Really don't want Spacers...

C5/Z06 295/35/18's in the rear on Toyo Proxes.
I have read other people here have this set up as well & I am trying so hard to not resort to spacers.
I cannot seem to find a local shop that will do any fabrication work to the inner well, such as the BFH mod/grinding bumpstops/etc & have no experience on this myself.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions before I resort to spacers?

    Thanks!

(Keep in mind I have zero spacer knowledge = total spacer noob)
A couple things I have heard:
    - Some tracks, if not most, will not allow you to run w/spacers...
    - There is a good chance your wheels can come loose or separated...

um, i run spacers on my trans am, and my wheels have never came loose or seperated, if that is an issue with how short the studs are then you can buy longer studs, not sure about the spacer at the track thing, most tracks dont even do a through teching anyways so thats irrevelent.

if that is the case get some stock rims and put some slicks on for when you do go to the track.

but i run the same size rim that you do on the rear, and with the stock rearend there was some BFH needed in the fender wells, they did not need a spacer with the stock rearend, but when i put in the 9" I needed the spacers for some reason???

I have no excuse, this is too true.

So what all would I need to order?
Jegs seems to have a nice selection of spacers & unbeatable shipping...
I would guestimate I need 1/2" spacer for each rear, but you mentioned longer studs also right?
Does this mean bye bye locking lugs?

The only time I actually hear the rubbing is on driveways, burn-outs & sharp turns.
After looking up inside the rear wells after a month of driving on them, it looks like the bumpstops are so close to the inner rim,
that they are touching. If you run your finger along the far inside of the rear tires, your finger stops due to no clearance near the frame.
There you can see the rub marks down to the metal. The right rear rim seems scraped from the bumpstop, so they must be hitting.
I would think at least a 1/2" spacer is needed to pull the wheel away from the inner wall. I also need to make sure there is clearance
for my Eibach-Pro Kit to allow the 1.3-1.5" room for lowering.
