maybe, but why would you want to throw off your speedo over it? Like the letters that much? I don't know that you'd like that look once they were on...

I like the old school stuff. Couldn't I just use a programmer to recalibrate my speedo??

Just buy whatever tire you want, then go over the letters with one of those white letter pens. I remember they used to make them to touch up white lettered tires, that'd probably work. You'd just have to touch it up every so often.

But really? white letters? I like old school stuff too, but not on a late model car. Doesn't look right, IMO.

Like just because wide whites and painted steelies look good on a '58 Impala, doesn't mean they'd look good on a '08 Impala.

in the end do what you like and be proud! Yes, you could recalibrate the speedo but i wouldn't change tire sizes over it. The pen idea sounds like a possibility. Maybe talk to a local tire shop and see if they could order some for you?

I could ask my local tire shop except they charge over 100 dollars more than tire rack for the GY F1's I want

send tirerack a message explaining what you want and see if they can help ya out then? Expensive tire choice... That was the first set I had on my ws6. Then I realized i sent through a set every year and chose a cheaper alternative. I really liked the BFG g-force sports. Good price, great performance. Just a thought..

I've been looking at tires for a while now an have been deciding between the bfg's and the GY's, I think there both an upgrade from the crappy yokohama's that i have. Has anyone used the duplicolor paint? does it last or is it a waist of time and money?

what do you use your car for? In my experience, the Bfg's are excellent performance at a fraction of the cost--a much better value in my opinion under my requirements. better tread wear, yet more than satisfactory traction and performance--a good balance. in the end, up to you...
