does anyone know the stock width of a 98 trans am tires? because i want new rims...their 16" stock but i want like 18" without having to get spacers and crap

its 16x8 rims and the tires are 245 wide.

like i said above its 16" tall and 8" wide. 245 is the series of tire. Like the tires are 245/50/16.
245= width
50=sidewall
16= size of rims

if you want custom rims you can go much wider than 8" though. You can fit as wide as an 11" rim with 315 tires.

yea absolutely. Just make sure you get the 5 x 4.75 bolt pattern and check about back spacing.
