    Questions about torque thrust 2s

I am thinking about getting a set of American Racing TT2s for the trans am. The only thing is I would want a 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 (or 11 if possible) rear. Would these have to be custom ordered with some sort of special backspacing? And is the polished aluminum difficult to keep shiny? Any way to get them chrome plated?

I can't answer your backspacing question. You should be able to order how ever you please. If you want 2 17x9.5 and 2 18x10.5or11 you can order them like that. As far as keeping them clean its kinda a bitch if it's your DD if its a show queen or weekend warrior you should have much of a problem. You can get them in chrome but only the spokes and center cap are chrome not the lip. The lip is the easiest part to polish its the spokes that get to be a real pain. If you have the money and this is a DD I would go with chrome just for ease of maintence.

So did you order them chrome or have them aftermarket dipped? Do you remember how much extra it was?

you can only get theTTM's in the fully chrome wheels, the TT2's in chrome is only the center cap and spokes the lip of the wheel is still polished.

It seems like the best way to get chrome would be getting the TTM instead of the TT2 special ordered in chrome centers only. But the TTMs are only available in 17x9 and 17x10? Has anyone found them in other sizes? Is the wheel design the exact same between TT2 and TTM besides the size and finish?

    Here are tt2's

    Here are TTM's

I personally like the TTM's better anyway so it worked out for me.

I can't seem to find the TTMs in 18" size anywhere. Are they available?

Would you recommend getting these in 18x11 or 17x11 on the back, I was thinking 17x9.5 on the front either way. WHat would you say looks the best. Does anyone have any pictures thanks
