pro stars,bogarts,draglites?
Anyone know the xact bolt pattern, wheel size, and back spacing for a set of drag rims (pro stars, draglites, bogarts ect.) that require NO grinding of the calipers? i just painted my calipers, it'd be a shame to mess em up

You will most likely have to find Weld wheels used.
New ones will be hard to find.

I've heard you can still buy Welds but you'll have to do alot of grinding and run a spacer up front. Bogarts are great, just cost 2X as much.

Grinding....
Man I took a lot off the rears to fit the ProStar 15x10.
No grinding up front with a 5/16" spacer.

Ah.
That is tight isn't it.
I haven't had any problems now...but when I had SLP headers and was at the stock ride height, I scraped those collectors on everything.
Dropped it and got Kooks longtubes.

the slp headers are a bitch to put on, i helped my friend put his on. we ended up having to grind off a factory mounting bracket on the block to get the passenger side in. but back to the wheels.... did weld stop making pro stars? i cant find a new set anywhere

weld went bankrupt. american racing bought them. be about a year until american racing makes the weld line, if they do at all.

that does suck... does anyone make 16" drag wheels? i'd think that with 16's you wouldnt have to grind on your calipers.

Bogart makes 15' drag wheels that require no modifications.
