Subscribed. My question is how do you strip the clear without damaging the wheel?

I'm interested in this, I wanna get a set of speedlines. I'd love to see them fully polished. I'm not a fan of chrome, but those triple chromed ones on tech do look great

never mind i found them they do look good but im not a crome guy. and i dont have the 615 to get them. i was told air craft stripper is the best to use and wont hurt the metal then its all about the polish.

id use air craft stripper, then move to 1000 grit, 1500 grit, then 2000 grit. Follow up with mothers polish with a good cotton buff in a drill.

You selling the Speedlines? It'd be a while before I could even attempt to get them, but if you still have them in the summer I may be interested in them. Plus I come up to Ohio for a couple of weeks in the summer every year

I will definetly take you up on that. When I get the cash i'll contact you. I think Speedlines are one of the best looking (if not best) rims for the TA's. Good we have a write up on how to polish them now too
