    Paint my wheels?

Is it possible to paint my torque thrust II's black? I just need a change but love the way they look and the width.

    No reason why you can't.

    Powdercoating is another option.

I would go with powdercoating as well. If you're going to change the color of the wheels, do it right...the first time.

    Word!

My guy did my wheels for $300 with hand prep. Make sure your wheels CAN be sandblasted. Certain materials (like grey stock Camaro 10 spokes) can't be SB'd because of their composition. They might be slightly compromised, so you might need hand prep instead..... Just do your research beforehand.

How would I go about the research? I have American racing Torgue Thrust II's.

Check for local powdercoating shops on the internet. Some may have price sheets posted on their sites. If you have any friends that have had powdercoating done, you can ask who they used. My brother ran a powdercoating shop for several years and he did the rims on my Talon a nice charcoal gray.
