    Offset on rims from a 2000 C5

Ok, I bought a set of rims from a 2000 corvette. The front fit and rear did not. I am going to sell the rims and need to know the offset of the rears. (Also if anyone is interested pm me, I'm selling the set for $500 damn near perfect, without tires, sorry) I searched the forum to find out and found no help... If anyone can assist me it would be greatly appreciated.

hey I have the same rims with a 00 z28 and they fit fine, but if you want to make it easy go to-http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp, that should help you out.

The wheel is hitting the inside of the car. The calipers fit and all that but the inside of the rim hits is the best way to explain it, like the rims are too wide. If needed I might be able to take a pic to better assist.

hit what? do they hit while the car is up in the air and the tires are off the ground? if they are hitting the rubber snubber while the car is lifted, that is normal. once you lower the car, the axle will go above it and clear the wheel.

No, if I were to put the wheels on the inside of the rim would hit the inside of the wheel well. They said I would need a spacer for it but I don't really like the idea of a spacer. If this still doesn't explain it I'll try to get a pic tonight.

I have the same wheels on my 98 Z, but all four of mine are 17" so. And actually I'll be taking these off today and putting some black 18" rims on. I guess I'll be selling these.

The ones I have are 17s in the front and 18s in the back. I'm not sure how wide the rears are exactly, but they are WIIIIIDE. I plan on getting some wide ass tires for them too
