Nitto 555r tires good??
Are these tires as sticky as they claim to be? I'm thinking about getting a pair but want to know if anyone has them and how good do they hook also whats the lifetime on them? Any answers will help i plan to have them as daily driver tires but have them for the races when people wanna try me. thanks

Personaly i had no luck with them, although some people love them. I couldnt hook at all. Depending on how much highway and track time you see they will actualy last you awhile.

I have em and during summer my car is my DD. They dont hook that good at all unless they are heated up. They are better then most tires though. They do pretty good in the rain, i havent had any bad experiences. You'll get a pretty good life out of them if you dpnt leave rubber after every stop. At the track with some VHT laid down and a good 8 sec burnout, mine stuck like all hell and i didnt spin at all of the line. Im going with MT ET's next time though just to try them out.

I own them and I think they hook pretty well. I am actually pretty scared to launch on the streets because they do seem to grip and sometimes create some wheel hop. I have some suspension mods and close to 390hp to the ground so I dont if that is the reason why they seem to want to hop a bit. And I think I will bust my stock rear if I launch and they hop too much. Good tires though and they stick really well if you punch it from a roll. I know a lot of cars will spin through the gears which looks cool but these stick to the ground.

I run them as street tires for my M6 car.
Friend was able to easily cut 1.9's with a 500+ RWHP car on 275/40/17's. Stalled A4, and not really pushing it.
They do fairly well on A4's at the strip. They just don't like the shock that the M6 gives them.
