Nitto 555r Drag Radials...
So I finally got my butt in gear and mounted some Nitto Dr's on the extra pair of chrome Zr1 rims i had laying around. they will go on the car tomorrow while doing an oil change...
Rims are 17'*9" with 315/35/17 DR's...

If you're thinking about it, get them! They kick so much ass, i had a set saved over after i sold my mustang. Discount tire will give you a great deal on a set too, make sure you call them dont just order online!

Bright Rally Red- 01 Camaro SS M6
post up some side pics of the wheel standing up or on the car pics...... Thanks man!! I will be needing to order some more Nitto's for my extra pair of 10spokes soon and I have been running the 275/40's for years. But noticed recently that the Nitto DR's run narrow compared to other brands. Also this pair of rims is for rolling out to the track or get togethers, not daily or auto X.

yes, 315's do fit on a 9" rim. when i bought the car, it came with those Nitto DR's mounted on the factory 9" chrome Zr1 rim. i bought an extra pair of chrome 17*9 rims and got those Nitto's for the rear again. i got the Nitto's for $174 each through discount tire.
i will try to get some pics up ASAP. they are on the car now and have 50-60 miles on them...

could u take some 3/4 angle pics?????? im shocked they fit as well as they do....when i look up 315/35/17s on tirerack they recommend an 11 inch wheel and the smallest wheel on the thinnest tire i could find the bottom range was 10.5 so anything less than 10 REALLY sounds like its pushin it...anyone have more insite into this???? cuz if its safe and fits ok i would love to do the same thing and mount some on my 9.5s

triple-black- 2000 CamaroSS convertible
not safe... should've installed them on 11" rims.
btw, you have no performance gain whatsoever installing 315s on a 9" compared to a 275 on a 9"... you'd actually hook better w/ 275s... cause the tire would be properly mountedEugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)
