nitto 555r dr vs. bfg gforce t/a kd (hooking only)

Hey guys, I've heard some great things about both tires. I'm basically looking for a definitive answer on which tire is better at standstill traction or hooking only. (not handling, price, treadwear etc.) Hope to buy my 315/35/17s soon, Thanks!

I have heard positives for both.

I like my Nitto DR's over the street tires I have tried. Never tried the KD though.

I have the KD's.........could not hook worth a poop at the dragstrip.........hoping to get some BFG drag radials soon

nitto hook way better... I love my KD's for street and show though. I haven't tried the BFG DR's yet

BFG DR hook better than Nittos but dont last as long if you run them street/strip. I have run both and am debating on switching back to Nittos this year since I wont be doing much racing this season. That way I will get a couple seasons out of the tires. My BFG DRs lasted one summer street/strip with less than 5000 miles on them.
