New MT drag info

So i read on a forum the someone called MT and they now say manual transmission cars should launch (hole shot etc) with stiff sidewall tires and say drag radials will hook better than ET Street or ET Drag . Wrinkle walls are not good for M6 anymore as per MT. Really this info was in a thread. Can anyone jump in on this??

I run a DR anyhow, but thought about other tires when they need replaced.

Finally called MT the tech said someone is passing bogus info. He said M6 wrinkle wall is better than drag radial.
