    New Drag Radials

Hey, I wanna get new drag radials mounted on the back of my stock 16's...
Will 255/50R16's be ok? I'm worried about rubbing and I don't wanna get spacers...

Those size tires will not rub.

You should be just fine. Are you going to get Mickeys? The Hoosiers hook better and are little lighter to give you more MPH but they also wear faster.
What ever you buy at least get the BFG's cause ALL 3 work WAY better than the Nittos.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Thanks guys! Yea, I'm going for some ET Streets. I don't wanna swap tires out left and right & I heard they seem to last somewhat.

Yeah they do just remember 2 things.......
Always reinflate to 30-35 psi for normal street driving.
Second they don't take or for that matter need BIG JohnForce burnouts.
A lite haze of smoke rolling off them is fine at the track they are ready.
We have great luck with that size on a 8.5" wheel is right around 16psi.
You need to go to a clean concrete parking lot (with a accurate psi guage NOT a BS AUTOZONE guage) and play with the psi I would start at 18psi and work your way down. Doing a dry hazing of the tires examine your marks and keep lowering the psi unit the mark is uniform across the tread. NOT lighter on the middle and dark edges or vice vesa.
Then you'll know what psi gives you the best tread contact area on the track. You should run within a 1 psi window of that # you figured out at the parking lot depending on the temp.
