Need a wheel...
So I hit a pot hole and my rim bent. Now, when I park it on the bent part, it loses air pressure pretty rapidly. If I park it on the non-bent part, it seems to hold air pressure just fine.
The wheels are the (5) double spoke wheels. Just like the ones in this picture
Any thoughts?
I've looked on e-bay and have started to call local junk yards, but nothing yet.
Is an aluminum rim worth getting fixed? I've heard that the bend can be hammered out and straightened for about 1/2 the cost of a new wheel.

I noticed the rim was bent when I started feeling a slight vibration. I jacked the car up to look at the front end and saw the wheel bent.
It basically is a round circle looking at it from the inside and then has a "bump" up where I hit the pothole.
Tire only seems to lose pressure when it is cold outside...

That's the wheel I need. It is for an 08 Impala LTZ
The guy I got his contact number from the Chevy dealership fixes wheels...
I was told he would come to my house and fix the rim for $125, which is about 1/2 the cost of a new rim.
Wasn't sure if this would work though or be a band-aid and the 1st time I hit a pot-hole again it would start leaking again.
I've read online about heating the wheel up and using a hammer and block of wood and beating it back to its original shape...or as close to as can get.
I assume I would have to remove the tire, heat it up and try to bend it, then have the tire mounted back on and the rim re-balanced.
Might be cheaper to get a new wheel...
