Need a little help picking the right finish

I live very close to the beach, so the sea air is tough on chrome and some metals. I had some chrome rims on my truck and they began to oxidize the first week. I was thinking about buying some polished corvette wheels(OEM). Would they hold up and better than chrome or should I just get some black rims?

Polished will not hold up better than chrome, quite the opposite in fact.

I'm not to informed on this sinse I don't have that kind of problem here but I assume wheels with good quality paint will hold up longer if you wax it and take care of it.

I'd go black. Black with polished lip is way overused but is still rare on white. Like M-Ten said it looks sweet.

yep

they do look good on white cars.. chrome doesn't offset white like it does with other cars, at least in my opinion

yeah those look good too.. you should check out the umm.. i think c6z06 rims ? and the c5 rims i think .. not sure but look around in the wheels and tires section and a bunch of pictures and you'll see a lot of nice looking black rims
