My wheel width dilemma
Well I finally decided on the C6 wheels over the TT2s but now am trying to figure out my wheel width. Here are my two options:
#1: 18x9.5s all the way around with 275 tires and have the ability to swap front to back for rotation and try to keep tire wear fairly consistent
or
#2: 18x9.5 for the rear and 18x8.5 for the front and have the tires pretty much stay put except for the not too often break down and swap sides
Any help or comments???? After this is the which tire decision....what a process for someone that cant make decisions well.

I would go with option #1 for the reason you stated. The ability to rotate is worth it.
Are you just looking for some street tires?

for ease of rotation, stay with the 18 x 9.5 all the way around. i have the factory 18/19 wheels on my car. the front have 245/45-18
for you use the 275/35-18 tire. same factory diameter of 25.7" tall as to not effect the speedometer.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

I will be looking for some street tires, not sure what kind though. I am curious as to how the handling and steering is affected when you go that wide in the front. Any comments on that?
Thanks for all your help so far!!!

What tires are you running with your c6's?

If you go with different size wheels front/rear, you need to be aware of one more thing...Some tires are unidirectional.
I have 17s up front and 18's in back. I'm running Firehawks and the sidewall clearly states that the tires should be running in 1 direction only (no swapping left & right); and obviously, I can't swap them with the front wheels.
