My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
My dilemma
With my recent suspension upgrades i've heard that sticky tires will help me enjoy corning much more. My dilemma is that sticky tires tend to wear out fast and I love to take long [let me emphasize] L O N G trips in my car from time to time. I want something that will give me atleast 30k miles of life and security. I'd appreciate feedback from anyone with experience.

09 EclipseGT 75 Chevy 4x4- 2001 Trans-Am 13 F-XT
I have 2 summers on my GS-D3's and there's lots of tread left. I'm really not sure of millage so far. I'll try to figure it out. Some people claim they are to soft of side walls, but if they are inflated enough I think they are fine. I pull over 1G on them easy.

what size are you running now? and there's different definitions of sticky tires. for a decent tire for dual purpose, a michelin pilot tire is a good choice. i use the nitto 555 tires on the wife's car. standard design, not the drag radials or the autocross design they have.

fist, no more burn outs, that kills them so fast, and second every time you chirp them when leaving it wears them out fast also
