I've seen 335 in the rear in some mags...but a buddy of mine has 315's on his in the back. Some work is needed though to fit them in, or they will rub, he bought the part, and when the time comes to buy rims, I will be purchasing wiiiiiider rims for the rear to fit at least 315's back there. Takes some time, and elbow grease to "massage" the wheel well to allow the wider wheel/tire combo, but worth the effort. Right now I have 285's on the stock rims, and my car is lowered 1.8" and I have no rubbing probs. (in the rear)

depends on the wheel size, wheel offset, tire brand, and if the car is lowered or not (rolling the fender, BFH wheel-well and bump stop mods all come to mind)...

im running 17x9.5" wheels with 315/35/17 Nitto DR's on the rear...

ive had no issues, nor have I had to roll the fenders, or the bump stop mod. I did have to take the BFH to the drivers side very bottom fender lip and that was all...

some say you need to run a 10" or wider rim to run 315's, that's fine makes sense, but since Nitto runs a 315 that narrower than a Yokahama 315 tire for example, that's why i have no issues running a 315 w/my setup and dont have the tire buldge that blows out way past the rim lip...

315 17's on the rear of mine. Stock height no problems except slight rub on inside wheelwell on fairly steep inclines if approached not 100% straight. Lowered I caught all kinds of hell with fender lip etc.

I'm thinking about adding either tork imagine 18X8 or R1 Racing Hype 18X7.5 to my car. Both have a +38mm offset. My question is do I have to worry about rubbing if I decide to go staggered and if there is a +38mm offset, then how much of the rim will stick out compared to stock. And if so, is there anything I can do to correct it.

Since my last post I have installed 305's all the way around, and there were rubbing issues at each end. Go to wheels and tires section and "305's all the way around?" if you care to see the mods I had to do to get the tires, and 20's to fit. The tires, and rims are in the Avatar to the left.
