When did we get so close that you can accurately predict how I'd react to any given situation?

I say take it a step farther call the better business bureau file a complaint and just for the fun of it file a complaint with the states attorneys office from what I have been told they have to investigate and no matter what it counts as a black mark... this would be doing them a favor and waking them to the concept of good customer service!!! just my two cents thanks again it does kinda suck though now I have to do more research to find my new wheels now
    Very true.

    Of course I'd be pissed.

Would I go on the internet and start trying to cost the vendor business before they'd even had a chance to respond to my complaint? No.

After they had offered to drop ship me a new set of wheels if I gave them a deposit and reimburse me when they saw the flawed wheels would I come on here and complain about it? No.

Would I be stretching my story to make it sound better by saying things like (to paraphrase) "I shouldn't have to give them a deposit, they have my credit card #" when in fact they have a cheque card # wich is absolutely useless in the case that it turned out I had no money in my account and I decided not to ship back the bad wheels? No.

Those are the things that I'd have to do in order to be posting the same way the OP has been.

You need to go back over my posts because you misunderstood them or you can't read.

I already contacted them and the options I was given were the only options and that was to deposit $300! A solution to this would have been for them to reimburse me the cost of unmounting and remounting the tires then have them send me a call tag for the wheels so that they could have looked at them and then I am pretty sure they would have sent me a new set.

Hmm, I bet you never thought of that since you are not in that situation and you just wouldn't be able to contemplate this.

If this is the way they do business, then it should be know to all.

What Tomzwheels SHOULD do, is have the wheel and tire assemblies picked up at their expense, take care of the dismounting and remounting, then send the customer back his NEW undamaged wheels and tires like he originally paid for. That would be customer service like it should be. The wheels pictured in original post should have never left the Chinese factory IMHO. The buyer did nothing wrong so he should not be having to do anything other than be home for UPS or FEDEX to pick up the POS wheels he was sold. JMO...I'm sure the vendor has seen the pics already, even though there's no reply or explanation for their lack of customer satisfaction here in this thread, and there's no denying the wheels are screwed up and were shipped that way. Anyone who paid for two brand new rims and tires would be upset if the junk that is pictured is what showed up at your door.

I think we can all understand that maybe everyone doesn't have the means to let $300 of theirs sit in limbo for a few weeks...especially since the issue is no fault of their own. If TomZwheels expedites the pickup of the bad wheels, and also expedites their replacement, I think it'd be safe to assume that the poster could handle that as an option.

I agree with that completely, there's no question that the wheels need to be replaced, and if Tomz was willing to send a tag for the wheels I can't see why they wouldn't have done it for the wheels and tires together......... was it offered OP?

my question is why did you pay to mount them if you saw the quality of the product was poor?

The person that mounted those should have, obviously, not mounted them and sent them. That being said, they should accept them back as a package. I cannot fault them for wanting some sort of security deposit until they visually check your wheels. I would..
That is the cost of doing business online and not in a brick and mortar store down the road from you, you rolled the dice when you decided to pay the least amount possible. If you had gone to a local speed shop/ retailer this would not be an issue. Lots of online places will tell you tough shit. Deal with it and/or charge you more for shipping. There's little profit margin on rims and tires as it is, everyone is trying to sell for less to earn business. The AMOUNT of money you spent has Little to do with how much he made from your purchase. Agreed that the product sucks.. Agreed that they should take care of you, sounds like they are making an attempt. But you should realize that pissing them off has little to No value as they are holding all the cards atm. Too much ranting and they can and most likely will tell you to pound sand and keep your cash. I am sure that if you are patient and realize that your deposit will be refunded once they see what crap they sent you, all will be well and you will get your new rims and deposit back an be happy. I would suggest that you document EVERYTHING, record the conversations if possible, or have them mail/e-mail you their proposals and KEEP the records in case things go south. Taking an online vendor to court is messy and a pain in the ass. But without documentation, pointless. I deal with BBB matters now and then, if the customer is reasonable and has the supporting documents, things are usually satisfied quickly. Feel free to PM me if you need suggestions about how to present yourself and or what to document. Be happy to help
