285 would be the maximum you can run on 9.5s...I don't know what the size difference is width wise between a 275 and 285 but you may want to look at the price difference

Size difference is one centimeter, technically speaking. It can vary slightly by manufacturer, (tires are like shoes in that regard) but tire width is measured in millimeters.

with that in mind there isn't going to be a huge difference in widths

the prices clearly go up for 285s you can get a quality tire at a better price if you run 275s

The slight size increase does give more visual kick (it is more noticeable than you'd think, I think the proportions with the fender lip makes it more obvious) but if you can spend less money for a stickier 275, why mess around with the 285? And unless you are doing some serious competition like road racing or drag racing and you are looking to trim tenths of seconds, you won't notice the difference between a 275 and a 285 tire of the same make and model anyway.

WOW, I was thinking you had found some awesome deals on tires until I noticed they were 18's and not 19's I wonder why 19's are so much more?

probably because the demand for 19s is much smaller then it is for 18s so they make fewer 19s raising the price

I guess, but you would think with all the Vette's and other high end cars that run that size ...... Never mind, if you have a nice car they think you are made of $$$

Normally I'd say chrome but lately I've seen a couple of red TA's with black wheels on here and they look sick, I'll try and get a pic.

To the OP, when are you having your wheels installed. I was acutally just looking at OE wheells llc, wondering how some of those Z06 wheels would look on my G8... pleas update us on the build quality of these wheels. Great value from what I can tell...
